Patient Interactions and Practical Experiences
Patient Interactions and Practical Experiences
Our students gain invaluable practical experience through direct participation in the care of real patients. During six weeks of Clinical Internship shifts, students practice assessments and skills under the supervision and mentorship of experienced clinicians in a hospital setting. Over nine weeks of Field Internship ride-alongs, students work with experienced EMS crews and gain firsthand insight into the day-to-day work of a paramedic.
